SAAKAAR means fulfillment... we endeavor to fulfill the need for wholesome creative entertainment.
The theater lovers in and around Atlanta have had reason to celebrate with the of launch of “Saakaar” in 2002. A group of theater enthusiasts, mainly comprising of performing artists from the Indian sub-continent, constitute Saakaar. It is dedicated to bringing quality and wholesome entertainment to the Indian and mainstream communities in Atlanta and neighboring areas.
The members of Saakaar have been associated in the past with theater and other performing arts for a long period of time. Over the past 8 years, Saakaar has brought high quality plays to bear. All plays are selected/scripted, created, produced, marketed and staged voluntarily by members of Saakaar. Matter of intense pride that all performances have been received extremely well by the audience and Saakaar has carved a niche for itself.
Besides meeting modest expenses to create and manage play production, the organization serves social causes and undertakes community projects

All members, cast, production and back stage helpers are passionate about art and its healthy contribution to life. There are professionals -doctors, engineers, IT Managers, executives, business owners all working in unison to bring a smile and light up audience’ faces.
